Share your ideas. You may have technical skills or gifts of the spirit that will help United Methodists with disabilities. Consider fund raising, writing, organizing, or seeing the big picture. If you are a hands-on person, please consider opportunities in your local church or conference. Offer to be in ministry with people who have disabilities and volunteer side-by-side. Options may include:
- Feed My Starving Children
- Food Banks
- Filling Cleaning Buckets for distribution to people who have faced natural disasters (i.e., flooding)
- Be greeters
- Co-usher
- Assist in classrooms
- Participate in joint youth – adult with intellectual disabilities service projects
- Participate in UMW/UMM service projects making cards for military persons over seas
