Get Involved – Volunteer

Wanted: Resource Persons to Volunteer

We welcome those who are willing to share their talent, skill, and passion for inclusion and accessibility through ministry with people with disabilities. While we can’t compensate you with dollars, our volunteers are appreciated and rewarded in many ways.

You could write an article about your church or district’s success stories. Perhaps you have a passion about a specific disability and its challenges that would relate to United Methodist church families. Share your ideas. You may have technical skills or gifts of the spirit that will help United Methodists with disabilities. Consider fund raising, writing, organizing, or seeing the big picture. You can find these and other ideas by reading our Resource Person Roles information sheet. We’d like to hear from you today!

To volunteer and share, please complete our Resource Person Application. You can submit it by e-mail to   information@umcdmc.org, or by postal mail to the address on the application.
